Learn How to Get a Dog to Stop Jumping
Jumping is a common behavior in dogs, often stemming from excitement or a desire for attention. This course addresses the reasons behind jumping and provides effective strategies for managing and redirecting this behavior. It begins with understanding the triggers for jumping and teaching dogs more appropriate ways to express their excitement or seek attention.
The training methods include positive reinforcement for keeping all four paws on the ground, as well as alternative behaviors for greeting people. Owners learn how to consistently reinforce these behaviors and how to manage situations where the dog might be more likely to jump.
